Installation Guide

  1. Turn off the ice maker before starting
  2. Remove -- Push on the face/end of the old filter to release it, then slide it straight out of the housing and discard
  3. Align -- Line up the arrows on the bottom of the new FPPWFU01 filter with the arrow on the filter housing
  4. Insert -- Slide the new filter gently into the housing until it stops against the snap-in connector. Push firmly until it clicks into place 
  5. Prime -- Run water through the dispenser for approximately 3 minutes or 1.5 gallons to prime the filter. Discard this water 
  6. Reset -- Reset the filter indicator light per your fridge's Use & Care Guide. Discard the first two batches of ice as well
